1. Essie nailpolish, #37 'Lilacism'
I literally eek-ed when I saw that there was a bloomin full size Essie nailpolish inside the Glossybox. I was so psyched that it also came in exactly the colour I wanted out of all Essie nailpolishes because I saw it on one of my friends three weeks or so before the Glossybox arrived (the universe loves me). The texture is pretty creamy and two coats are fine. That being my first pastel Essie, I must say I still prefer O.P.I, but it is an overall great nailpolish, that is long lasting and has a great texture.
2. Joico K-Pak Revitaluxe, Bio advanced restorative treatment
It is a very nice smelling hair mask with a very creamy but light texture.
I really liked this product as far as it gave me a lot of shine,
but nothing else. It didn't restore my hair as much as Redken's All soft usually does but I found using both products together did the trick.
I guess that for people with normal hair with dry ends like mine
it may not be a magic wand, but fine hair should benefit from it a lot.
3. Kiehl's, Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution
"Clinically - Demonstrated to rapidly correct dark spots and clarify skin tone. For deeply visible correction. with a potent complex of activated C, white birch and peony" - now I have applied it to my face only once or twice yet but whenever I did so I definitely felt a tingly sensation. I personally don't have dark spots but I believe in Kiehl's because all products I have tried so far were amazing, so I guess it will help to clarify your skin tone and correct your dark spots (I guess one will have to test it over a longer period of time to see results).
4. Maria Galland, Écrin de Gloss (SPF 15), Rosé
Écrin de Gloss by Maria Galland promises to soften and moisturize your lips while nourishing them with essential Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids. While I really like the texture of this product, the colour was a bit dissapointing to me. The rosé wasn't a soft pink as I expected it to be but more of a salmony pale orange which unfortunately didn't suit me at all. It was a full size product though of which other Glossybox subscribers who received it in red or liked the salmony colour will benefit.
5. Rau Cosmetics, Silvercream, 50ml
The Rau Cosmetics Silvercream is personally my favourite product from the April Glossybox. Highly porous silver and zinc enhance the appearance of your complexion clearly. Sage extract salicylic acid and urea clarify skin impurities. First success is visible after several days. Redness and inflammation are reduced, the face is clean and the skin refined. Everything written in the product description happened to me while using the product for a few days. My stressed skin looks so much better now, as my spots decreased and some impurities already vanished. I noticed that my complexion looks overall nicer and my skin is now more refined and clearer. Even though 24,50€ are a tad much for 50ml of product I will purchase it again once I ran out of it because it did such a great job on my face. A little goes a long way for you will only need a pea sized amount to cover your whole face. To crown it all it even smells nice and sinks in within seconds - amazing!
It was an overall amazing box and lastly there was not only a gift certificate for 25% off the next Glossybox for mothers day, they also put a Glossybox tote inside the box (Gasp!). I collect shoppers so I was obviously psyched to carry it around and didn't use another bag for two weeks. Hope you enjoyed this review, have a nice day! x
